Product Descriptions
HT97230 is a differential input, direct output line driver/headphone amplifier. When powered by 5V, the device provides 3VRMS output drive for a 1k Ω load; When powered by 3.3V, provide 2VRMS output drive for a 600 Ω load. When powered by 5V, the device provides a 125mW driver for a 32 Ω headphone load. The IC has an internal fixed gain of 6dB and can also be set with an external resistor (currently only external resistor set gain versions are available, other versions need to be reserved). IC provides excellent THD+N throughout the entire audio frequency band.
HT97230 has two different on time (tON) versions, with versions A, C, and E having a conduction time tON of 5.5ms for headphone driving; B and D have a 130ms tON for set-top box design (currently only version A is available, other versions need to be reserved). The internal charge pump inverts the input power supply, generating a negative power supply. The output stage of the amplifier is powered by an input positive power supply and a charge pump output negative power supply. Bipolar power supply causes the output to be biased at zero potential, eliminating the need for large-sized and easily distorted output coupling capacitors. There is no clicking/popping sound when the ICSD switch is turned on.
HT97230 has a 3D surround mode, which can create the feeling of 3D surround sound on stereo headphones. The HT97220 also has a bass enhancement mode, which can enhance the bass of a certain frequency band to varying degrees based on the frequency response characteristics of the headphones, achieving the effect of bass enhancement. HT97230 provides lead-free and halogen-free QFN24L-PP packaging, and offers customized requirements for QFN20L-PP packaging.
