Product Description

The MS5540C is a SMD hybrid device consisting of a high accuracy piezoresistive pressure sensor and an ADC interface IC. It is a miniature version of the MS5534C barometer/altimeter module and provides 16-bit pressure and temperature parameters dependent on voltage. The MS5540C is a low voltage, low power device with an automatic power off switch. The 3-wire interface allows for various communication with microprocessors. Compared to the MS5534A, the pressure range is improved (measurement down to 10 mbar). Compared to the MS5534B, the MS5540B has a 16-bit digital output instead of the previous 15-bit output. Other improvements include ESD sensitivity, current consumption and converter accuracy. The MS5540C is software compatible with the MS5534A, MS5534B, MS5534C and MS5540B. In addition, the MS5540C is compatible with the MS54xx series of pressure sensors from its outer dimensions. The sensor's rubber protection allows use in waterproof watches at a depth of 100 meters without any other protection.

The MS5540C software is compatible with the MS5534A, MS5534B, MS5534C, MS5540B. In addition, the MS5540C is compatible with the MS54xx series from its external dimensions to the pressure sensor.
