Product Description

Introduction

The VEML6040 RGBW color sensor measures the intensity of the red, green and blue ambient light content used to derive x and y color coordinates. In this way, the correlated color temperature (CCT) measured in Kelvin can be calculated. There is also a broad spectrum photodiode for sensing white light. These sensors integrate multiple photodiodes, amplifiers, analog/digital circuits, and an I2C interface into a single chip.

The operating voltage is 2.5v-3.6v

peculiarity

Peak sensitivities are 650, 550 and 450nm.
The spectral bandwidths are 35, 35 and ± 40nm.
16-bit resolution per channel
2.0x 87 mm miniature package
I2C (SMBus compatible) interface
Six G-channel detection ranges
Integration time
Continuous or triggered reading
Memory last read
