HT6809 is a Class D audio power amplifier that integrates 32 order digital volume control and anti clipping distortion function, and has ultra-low EMI stereo output free filter. It operates at a power supply voltage of 5V

Under the condition of THD+N=10 percent and 4 Ω load, the output power can reach up to 3W, providing performance comparable to Class AB amplifiers while achieving an efficiency of up to 90 percent.

The biggest feature of HT6809 is its anti clipping distortion (ACF) output control function, which can detect and suppress output signal clipping distortion (broken sound) caused by excessive amplitude of input music and voice signals. It can also adaptively prevent output clipping caused by power voltage drop in battery applications, significantly improving sound quality, creating a very comfortable music experience, and protecting the speaker from overload damage. By connecting different resistance and capacitance values at the ACRC end, the sound quality and output power of the amplifier can be flexibly set; At the same time, the chip provides ACF Off mode.

HT6809 adopts a unique electromagnetic radiation (EMI) suppression technology, which has excellent full bandwidth low radiation performance. The radiation level is still far below the FCC Part 15 Class B standard value without any auxiliary design, reducing the difficulty of system electromagnetic compatibility design.

HT6809 integrates filter free digital modulation technology internally, which can directly drive the speaker and minimize the distortion and noise of pulse output signals. Minimal external components save system space and cost, making it an ideal choice for portable applications.

In addition, the built-in turn off function of HT6809 minimizes standby current, and integrates functions such as mute function, independent turn off of left and right channels, speaker output overcurrent protection, on-chip over temperature protection, and undervoltage abnormal protection; Adopting lead-free QFN-20 packaging form.
