Product Introduction
MAX30102 is an integrated module for pulse oximeters and monitoring biosensors. It integrates a red LED and an infrared LED, a photodetector, optical components, and low-noise electronic circuits with ambient light suppression. The MAX30102 uses a 1.8V power supply and an independent 5.0V power supply for internal LEDs for wearable devices for heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring: worn on fingers, earlobes, wrists, and other areas. The standard and 12C compatible communication interface can transmit the collected values to microcontrollers such as Arduino and Kl25Z for heart rate and blood oxygen calculation. In addition, the chip can also achieve a standby current close to zero by turning off the module through software, ensuring that the power supply is always maintained.
Product working principle
1. Photolysis method: using the difference in light transmittance caused by human tissue during vascular pulsation to measure pulse and blood oxygen saturation
2. Light source: using oxygenated hemoglobin (Hb02) and hemoglobin in arterial blood (Hb) Selective light emitting diodes with specific wavelengths
3. The transmittance is converted into an electrical signal, and the arterial pulse congestion volume leads to a change in the transmittance of light. At this time, the light reflected by human tissue is received by photoelectric conversion, converted into an electrical signal, and amplified
output.
