Product Introduction
The gas sensing material used in MQ-9 gas sensors is tin dioxide (SnO2) with low conductivity in clean air. We use a high-low temperature cycle detection method to detect carbon monoxide at low temperatures (1.5V heating). The conductivity of the sensor increases with the concentration of carbon monoxide gas in the air. At high temperatures (5.0V heating), we detect combustible gases such as methane and propane and clean the stray gases adsorbed at low temperatures. The change in conductivity can be converted into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration using a simple circuit. The MQ-9 gas sensor has high sensitivity to carbon monoxide, methane, and liquefied gas. This sensor can detect various gases containing carbon monoxide and flammability, making it a low-cost sensor suitable for multiple applications.
