The MSA311 is an ultra-small, low-cost three-axis accelerometer. It's cheap, but contains almost every "extra" in an accelerometer you want:
Three-axis sensing, 14-bit resolution
±2g/±4g/±8g/±16g Optional scaling The 12C interface at fixed 12C address 0x62 interrupts output
Multiple data rate options from 1Hz to 500Hz
Current consumption as low as 2uA in low power mode (only the chip itself, excluding any supporting circuits)
