Product Introduction

VS1053b is a single-chip Ogg Vorbis/MP3/AAC/WMA/MIDI audio decoder, as well as an IMA ADPCM encoder and user loaded Ogg Vorbis encoder. It includes a high-performance, patented low-power DSP processor core VS_SSP4, working data memory, 16 KiB instruction RAM and over 0.5 KiB data RAM for user applications and any fixed decoder to run together, serial control and input data interfaces, up to 8 available general-purpose I/O pins, a UART, and a high-quality variable sampling rate stereo ADC and stereo DAC, as well as a headphone amplifier and a common voltage buffer.
