GY-56 is a low-cost digital infrared ranging sensor module with a working voltage of 3-5r, low power consumption, small size, and convenient installation. The working principle is that the infrared LED emits light, which is irradiated on the tested object, and the return light is received by the MCU. The MCU calculates the time difference and obtains the distance. Directly output the distance value. This module has two ways to read data, namely
Serial UART (TTL level)+IIC (2-wire) mode, the baud rates of the serial port are 9600bps and 115200bps, configurable, with continuous and inquiry output modes, and can be saved after power failure. Provide communication programs for Arduino, 51, and STMM32 microcontrollers. No schematic or internal microcontroller source code provided.
GY-56 can set upper and lower distance alarm values, switch output, and directly output high-level IIC mode when there is an object being measured blocking within the set range. If necessary, different internal IIC addresses can be set so that multiple sensors can be directly connected to the same bus.
