infrared emission sensor module KY-005
Product Introduction
Infrared emission tube, also known as infrared emission diode, belongs to the diode class. It is a light-emitting device that can directly convert electrical energy into near-infrared light (invisible light) and radiate it out, mainly used in various photoelectric switches and remote control transmission circuits. The structure and principle of infrared emission tubes are similar to ordinary light-emitting diodes, except for the use of different semiconductor materials. Infrared light-emitting diodes typically use materials such as arsenide (GaAs) and gallium aluminum arsenide (GaAlAs), and are encapsulated in fully transparent or light blue, black resin.
Emission distance, emission angle (15 degrees, 30 degrees, 45 degrees, 60 degrees, 90 degrees, 120 degrees, 180 degrees), emitted light intensity, wavelength. The above are physical parameters, and it is necessary to understand their electrical performance parameters: commonly used diameter 3mm, 5mm for low-power infrared emission tubes, 8mm, 10mm for medium and high-power emission tubes in the market. Low power transmission tubes have a forward voltage of 1.1-1.5V and a current of 20ma. Medium power transmission tubes have a forward voltage of 1.4-1.65V and a current of 50-100ma. High power transmission tubes have a forward voltage of 1.5-1.9V and a current of 300-350mA.
S is D0, - is GND (S is the signal terminal, the middle is the power supply, - is GND)
