RAMPS stands for RepRap Arduino Mega Pololu Shield. The version sold on BotSheet is the latest version 1.4. 

When used with the Arduino Mega 2560 motherboard and four types of Pololu Shield motor chips, 

it can become the brain of a 3D printer, instructing the motor to move and commanding the extruder to print.

Main Application:

The combination of RAMPS 1.4 + Arduino Mega 2560 + A4988 motor chip is the best combination tested by BotSheet and 

is also the most popular combination. It is compatible with 3D printers with Delta parallel arm structure or XYZ 3-axis structure, 

and is suitable for making open source 3D printer projects such as Kossel, Rockstock, Mendel, Prusa i3, etc.

Extended Application:

As long as the HC-06 Bluetooth transmission module is installed, you can use the computer Bluetooth to connect to RAMPS for wireless 3D printing.

In addition, you can also install an LCD display kit to make the 3D printer independent of the computer and use SD Card to print directly, becoming an independent printing center.
