Product Description
| Product Introduction: The CJMCU-219 module is a zero-drift, bidirectional current/power monitoring integrated circuit (IC) with an I2C interface, further expanding TI's portfolio of energy-efficient electronics products. The INA219 offers industry-leading accuracy and a compact size. It monitors the voltage drop across a shunt resistor, senses the shunt supply voltage, and calculates power. Housed in a SOT23 package, it provides a compact, low-cost solution for digital current sensing in servers, notebooks, power supplies, battery management, and automotive and telecommunications equipment. The INA219 achieves 1 accuracy over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, with an offset of 100µV. This high accuracy, combined with 12-bit resolution, helps customers minimize the voltage drop across the shunt resistor, thereby minimizing power loss and dissipation, and saving board space. The device can sense bus voltages from 0V to +26V. Other key features of the INA219 include: Programmable calibration registers enable direct reading of current in amperes and power in watts. Up to 128 samples can be averaged to provide filtering in noisy environments. The I2C interface features a timeout setting to prevent bus lockup and a high-speed mode for communication speeds up to 3.4MHz. |
