Product Introduction

TEMT6000 is a transistor type photosensitive sensor, whose light intensity is proportional to the current at the base. It is also quite simple to use. You can simply connect the base of the sensor to the analog voltage input, and by simply detecting the voltage value, you can determine the current light intensity. The response characteristics of TEMT6000 to visible light illumination are similar to those of the human eye, which can simulate human judgment of the intensity of ambient light, making it convenient to make applications that are friendly to human interaction. Can be applied to lighting control, screen backlight control, etc.

The sensitivity of TEMT6000 sensor is 570nm, with a wide half sensitivity angle of ± 60 °. Although the device is highly sensitive to ambient light, it can suppress the infrared (IR) spectrum, providing a higher visible spectral responsiveness similar to that of the human eye.
