Product Introduction

1. PS2 keyboard driver module, using microcontroller serial port, parallel port, TWI/IIC can work simultaneously. If there is no slave connected to the IC/TWI bus, please remove the short-circuit cap on the module, otherwise the module will not work properly.

2. Working principle

The PS2 driver module uses a MUC to continuously retrieve and read data from the PS2 keyboard. When a button is pressed, the LED on the module flashes. At the same time, the PS2 driver module will transmit the obtained key values through serial port, parallel port, or TWI/IC (if TWIIC cannot be used, the TWI/IIC enable short-circuit cap on the module should be removed). For example, when the button "A" is pressed, the serial port (D7-D0 output) outputs "0X1C" and the parallel port outputs "0X1C", while the TWI/IC outputs "0X1C" (data output is only available when using TWI/IIC). Please refer to the figure below for the specific output scan code.
