The device is a double channel high-side drivermanufactured using ST proprietary VIPower^®M0-7 technology and housed in PowerSSO-16package . The device is designed to drive 12 Vautomotive grounded loads through a 3 V and5 V CMOS-compatible interface, providingprotection and diagnostics .

The device integrates advanced protectivefunctions such as load current limitation, overloadactive management by power limitation andovertemperature shutdown with configurablelatch-off .

A  FaultRST   pin unlatches the output in case offault or disables the latch-off functionality .

A dedicated multifunction multiplexed analogoutput pin delivers sophisticated diagnosticfunctions including high precision proportionalload current sense, supply voltage feedback andchip temperature sense, in addition to thedetection of overload and short circuit to ground,short to V_CC and OFF-state open-load .

A sense enable pin allows OFF-state diagnosis tobe disabled during the module low-power modeas well as external sense resistor sharing amongsimilar devices .
